Also in the three-day special edition and fresh from the 2012 summer run, Lady Gaga brings her Monster’s Ball back to the Legends stage.

Firm favourite Freddie Mercury will once again rock his way through Queen’s greatest hits and, for the first time ever, Legends will feature a classic tribute to Michael Jackson.

The Legends Easter Special runs from April 3 to 5.

The summer season of Legends starts on June 11 and for the first time will feature a tribute to Take That and solo star Gary Barlow as well as his old sparring partner Robbie Williams.

Legendary Ladies are also in full supply with first lady of rock Tina Turner featuring material from her early dynamism as part of Ike and Tina to her worldwide success as a solo artiste.

A firm Legends favourite, Elton John will be making an appearance on selected weeks in place of another first for the show – 60s beauty-turned-megastar-turned-Las-Vegas-sensation Cher.

Ironically, these two stars in real life have interchanged with one another in Las Vegas for many years now – so it seems fitting they should now be doing the same in Blackpool.

Bringing classic rock opera back to Legends is the return of Meat Loaf with walls of guitar one minute, beautiful duets the next.

Joining this year’s superstar line-up again will be master of ceremonies Tom Bright, the stunning Leanne Fury, the Wendy Hollands Dancers and the ‘boys in the band’ – The Legends Orchestra.

Tickets for the two different summer line-ups of are on sale now from the box office on (01253) 625262.
