Hide AdAs darkness enveloped The Green and mirror ball lighting flicked across the stage screens it was like we were all part of one heaving dance floor .
A quick fire medley of number ones included I'm Coming Out, Upside Down and We Are Family before the band launched into Madonna's Like A Virgin and Duran Duran's Notorious, both produced by Rodgers.
He told the crowd : "I'm thrilled to be in Lytham with you tonight and so far it's been nothing but a party !"
Chic singer Kimberly Davis's amazing vocals proved what a class live act this is as she belted out hit after hit including Le Freak which 40 years after its release remains a disco sensation, and the more recent Get Lucky.
