Star Wars: Andor: Close-up behind the scenes pictures of Cleveleys set as seafront transformed
Cleveleys seafront has undergone a sci-fi makeover in preparation for the filming of Disney's new series Star Wars: Andor.
Production crews understood to be E&E Industries at Pinewood Studios, who have previously been tied to Star Wars, have arrived for eight days of filming for an officially unnamed 12-part series.
Although they have declined to confirm what they are filming for, reports suggest the production could be for Star wars: Andor - an upcoming television series created by Tony Gilroy for Disney+.
Set five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the series follows rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion.
Disney has confirmed Diego Luna will be reprising the role of Cassian, and that he will be joined by a new cast that includes Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma.
