Lytham St Annes 41 Club hosted its ‘Lancashire Night Owt’ event on Friday.

And it was a sparkling turn-out as members of clubs from around Lancashire were invited to Lytham Green Drive Golf Club, on Ballam Road, to enjoy a typical Lancashire dinner and some good old-fashioned clog dancing.

Meanwhile, the Halloween festivities were founded off in style in Lytham as Zest bar, on Market Square, was the venue for Charlotte Dawson’s Halloween party.

The daughter of the late comedian Les Dawson was joined by friends including Rheagan Hendry, as they raised money for Charlotte’s trip to climb Kilimanjaro.

She is climbing the African mountain to raise money for British Red Cross, a charity that was a favourite of her late father.
