Simone pens her spiritual journey in new novel

Simone Marie Cowgill, a preacher at Blackpool Unitarian Church, wrote Soul Talk as a spiritual guide after years of giving counselling, meditation and readings.
Simone, 58, was brought up in St Annes and now lives in Blackpool.

Hide AdShe said: “I did a degree in theology when I left school and have been on quite a spiritual journey since, doing readings, metaphysical counselling, and Reiki healing.
“I also do spiritual counselling, meditation as well as talks and teaching courses.
“It’s a spiritual guide for how to listen to the voice of your soul, for those on a spiritual path.
“All my life I have felt there was a book in me.
“Though I have studied many spiritual practices, I did not feel ready to write the book until my late 50s.

Simone ran a spiritual centre called the Angel Lounge in St Annes for three years and she now works at the World Healing Centre in Blackpoo.
She is also currently studying astrology and hypnotherapy.
