Wordpool’s Fringe Friday begins just after 11am tomorrow with a performance in Blackpool Central Library’s new cafe from Donna Redford.
From then until the library closes there are events to cater for everyone.
From 11.05am until noon the St Bernadette’s Players will be performing in the Claremont Room.
Stephen Wymark will perform an adaptation of his innovative one man drama Fragments in the Talbot Room at 12.15pm.
For budding writers there is a flash fiction workshop from the Fylde Brighter Writers in the Claremont Room from 2 until 3.30pm.
Release your inner Kerouac for a chance to win a prize and be published in an anthology.
Poetry fans will love the Live Poets showcase in the Talbot Room from 2 to 3.30pm.
At 3.45pm there are dramatised readings of two short plays by members of Stage Write the local network for new drama – Breakout by David Riley and Assisting With Enquiries by Philip Avenell both in the Talbot Room.
The day ends with a shift of venue to 5 Cafe in Cedar Square where the Dead Good Poets are holding and open mike event.
The theme is Science Fiction but anything goes.
Fancy dress is optional and aliens are more than welcome.
