THE legendary Creamfields festival may have sold out, but one lucky Weekend reader could win a pair of tickets for the event absolutely free, courtesy of Che Bar and CoCo.
In conjunction with Smirnoff, the Market Street twin scene venue has been given two pairs of tickets to Creamfields to give away, and general manger Dominic Herdman is giving The Weekend one pair of them.
They also have two Smirnoff tents brollies, chairs and pairs of wellies to be won – so everything you need to survive a summer bank holiday weekend at a festival.
To be in with a chance of winning The Weekend’s pair of tickets, just e-mail your name, age and telephone number and to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday at 9am with the correct answer to this question: Where is Che Bar and CoCo? Is it (a) Queen Street (b) Market Street or (c) Church Street?
All runners up will be invited to the bar to try again.
The other pair, the VIP pair, will be up for grabs at the bar and club on Thursday, August 18. To be in with a chance of winning, any customer who enters before 11.05pm on that night will be given an entry form to fill in and return to the bar staff.
At midnight, host and compere Peter Schofield will draw out 20 finalists in the Crystal room. All 20 finalists will receive runners up prizes supplied by Smirnoff.
At 12.30am, Peter and his glamorous assistant will draw out the lucky winner, who will get to spend the weekend at the sell out Creamfields festival.
Thursday is also the A Level results party night for all the students heading to university and elsewhere in September – historically one of the best party nights of the summer,
Che Bar and CoCo will also be hosting the best pre-club partym and the party theme this year is simply ‘Fancy Dress’ with resident DJs Vince Williams and Kenny Dyson giving spot prizes to the guests who have made the most effort.
Opening from 7pm until 3am, the evening is expected to be massive. Drinks from £1.50 all night.
