Blackpool’s promenade became a sea of rainbow brights, glitter and voluminous wigs on Saturday for the resort’s 10th annual Pride Festival.
Thousands of people took to the streets to celebrate Blackpool’s thriving LGBT community in an array of fancy costumes.
After an 11am parade along the famous seafront stretch, the party continued at the Winter Gardens.
Pop duo Jedward and X-Factor heartthrob Jake Quickenden wowed the crowds.
1980s icons Black Lace performed cult classic Agadoo and the Krankies also made a special appearance.
Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw visited the event to witness policing in action.
