Viva Blackpool is hosting the celebrity signing convention in aid of Our Disappearing Planet in October, with even more stars due to be added to the bill.

Andress (who starred in Dr No) is one of 10 Bond girls, also including Luciana Paluzzi (Thunderball), Kristina Wayborn (Octopussy) and Madeline Smith (Live and Let Die), as well as ‘voice of 10 Bond girls’ Nikki Van Der Zyl all confirmed for the Saturday, October 24 event.

And one-time Bond actor George Lazenby is also listed, as are Quadrophenia actors Toyah, Trevor Laird and John Altman - best known as EastEnders’ recently-deceased Nasty Nick.

The event is being organised by Gregor Gee, a Scottish man, who owns the original car from the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang film.

Viva managing director Martin Heywood said: “I’ve seen video clips of these events over in America and they are just huge.

“It’s a weird but amazing prospect to be bringing this kind of amazing Hollywood line up to Viva and to Blackpool.

“And there’s more still to come. We have two Game Of Thrones stars and the ‘Iron Throne’ too, but are expecting to add more names as well as additional movie musical names, on top of Mark Lester - who so many people know as Oliver, and characters from Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory too.

“We’re looking forward to some all time great names coming to town, especially as it is during half term week.”

Our Disappearing Planet is an environmental charity which sells signed celebrity items.

Entry to the event, which will run from 10am to 5pm, costs £20, with autographs and photo opportunities then sold for an additional fee - up to £50 for Andress, with others from £5.
