THE Northern Soul Weekender rolls into the world famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom this bank holiday from this evening until Sunday.
At £25 for the whole three
days it’s great value, but for
fans who can’t commit to three days and nights of dancing organisers Goldsoul have made available a Sunday only pass priced at £10.
The offer is exclusively for locals for the mammoth Sunday all-dayer (2pm to midnight).
All the big name DJs will be playing, with Richard Searling kicking off at 2pm followed by Nige Brown, Ginger Taylor, Pat Reddy and Chris O’Donnell, Rod Allsworth and Jimmy Scrivener, Phil Ankers and ending with Richard Searling again with Kev Roberts.
To book contact 01909 515150 or 0871 2229929, or online at www.goldsoul.co.uk, www.blackpooltower.com and www.ticketweb.co.uk (booking fee applies).

It’s a revival of the music featured at Lytham Lions Football Club in the 1970s and Fylde Rugby Club in the 90s with music first heard at Wigan Casino and Blackpool’s famous Highland Room in the long lost Mecca.
Playing the tunes will be Bryan Wakelin, Jem Booth, Dave Rostron, Jimmy Scrivener, Mark Brian, Baz Maleady and Paul Hughes.
Advance tickets are available at £6 each online at www.lowtherpavlion.co.uk or call the box office on (01253) 794221 (10am to 5pm). Tickets on the door will be charged at £8.
