Here we pick out some of the biggest events to look forward to this spring.
1. Royal Shakespeare Company - March
With performances from March 28 until April 1, 2020, theRoyal Shakespeare Company will present a triple bill at The Grand, including; The Taming of The Shrew, As You Like It and Measure for Measure. Tickets from 20 pounds.
2. Blackpool Bubble Rush - April
The family-friendly 5k Bubble Rush course will take you through 4 coloured Bubble Stations. The event raises much needed funds for Brian House Childrens Hospice. Entry fees: Adults 14, child 12, family 44.
3. Harpy - April
The one woman show starring Sue Pollard is coming to Blackpool on Tuesday April 14, 2020. The show hinges around Birdie, who is a hoarder.The neighbours call her a harridan and a harpy, although most have never even met her. Tickets 23 pounds
4. La Bohme - April
La Bohme is one of the most romantic operas ever written. It tells the tragic tale of the doomed, consumptive Mimi and her love for a penniless writer. Tickets for the show on April 16 are available from 32 pounds.
5. Blackpool Marathon - April
Blackpool's marathon is a two lap flat course which takes place on April 26, 2020. Race facilities include bottled water stations, toilets, live electronic results, full race commentary, race photography and full medical support. Tickets 27 pounds.
6. Madama Butterfly - April
The Grand welcomes backKorean soprano Elena Dee and the celebrated international soprano Alyona Kistenyova for this production of Madama Butterfly on April 17, 2020. Ticket from 32 pounds
