Schools Alive: Pupils from virtually every Blackpool school will perform hundreds of songs and dances, play in bands and orchestras and enjoy their wonderful introduction to theatre. The Grand Theatre, Church Street, Blackpool. 7pm.

Woofers Comedy Club: Regular MC Phil Walker brings you an another amazing night of top flight comedy starting with a real bang with a visit from the comedy whirlwind Phil Nichol. Also joining him is Steve Royle and Sally-Anne Hayward. Lowther Pavilion, Lowther Terrace, Lytham. 8.30pm.
