A rip-roar-ing adventure for children is coming to Thornton Little Theatre for one day only.
Billy, The Monster and Me! is an interactive show from professional theatre company Colour the Clouds that’s suitable for the whole family.
Billy, The Monster and Me! was first performed at last year’s 24:7 Theatre Festival in Manchester where it won ‘Audience Voted Best Production’ and has since gone on to feature up and down the country including a performance at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Suitable for children aged three and over, the play follows the adventures of Billy on the day a monster appears in his bedroom just as his family are too busy to help.
Children and adults alike are invited to come and join Team Billy to help him rescue his family from meeting a very sticky end. Can you help save the day?
The show forms part of Spot On Lancashire’s autumn season, which brings high quality live arts events to around 50 small venues across rural Lancashire each year.
It is subsidised by Big Imaginations children’s theatre consortium, “Bringing Children’s Theatre to the North West”.
Spot On Director, Sue Robinson, was excited to include Billy, The Monster and Me! in the programme.
She said: “This is a wonderful piece of children’s theatre that has been warmly received everywhere it’s been. It’ll keep both kids and their parents hooked for the entire duration.
“They’ve played some big UK cities already, so we’re delighted that Billy’s adventures are now coming to Thornton.”
