Talented tots to theatrical teens can get a taster at one of Blackpool’s top theatre schools in the new year.
Scream Theatre Schools is opening its doors, in Wareham Road, on Saturday, January 17, giving youngsters a chance to try out classes in singing, dancing and acting.
Six to 16 year olds can attend from 10am to 1pm or 1.30pm to 4.30pm, with juniors, aged two to five, from 9.30am to 11.30am.
A spokesman said: “Scream Theatre Schools offer first-class training for young people with a passion for performing - our workshops are cool, tons of fun and taught by highly-qualified professionals.
“We focus on the three main disciplines of acting, dance and singing. There’s limited availability if you want to sign-up now for three hours of these, taught by TV and media industry professionals.
“There’s also the chance to be spotted by sister company Scream Management - based at Salford MediaCity’s The Greenhouse - which provides kids and youngsters for projects by CBBC, CITV, Disney, Nickelodeon, ITV and even the West End stage.”
Recent success stories for ‘Screamers’ include Ruby O’Donnell who plays Peri Lomax in Hollyoaks, Joe-Warren Plant - Emmerdale’s Jacob Gallagher and Ryan Wilkinson and Olivia Cosgrove as Charlie and Alison in CBBC’s All At Sea.
