Have your say

Whether you are a young at heart Roald Dahl fan or a family who enjoy live entertainment, make sure you don’t miss James & the Giant Peach, performed by the Birmingham Stage Company at
The Grand Theatre until Saturday.

Join this fabulous company of players as they take you on a fantastic journey to New York, filled with plenty of live music supplied by the eight exceptional performers.

Puppetry and excellent props play a part in the wonderful story which includes a magical spell.

Special effects with the wow factor – as witnessed at the opening night’s performance - one little girl in the audience shouting in amazement - as the stage exploded to reveal another amazing scene and atmospheric change.

Tom Gillies played a very convincing part as the boy James, encouraging the audience to be part of the story as it unfolded.

Lovely to see several children attending this play, even on a school night, as it is such a fantastic story with plenty of audience participation, so make sure you join in.
