‘Amazement, puzzlement and entertainment’ are all promised as High Jinx magic prepare their return to Blackpool.

Following three seasons at the Pleasure Beach, this summer they’re making a move to Viva on Church Street with a show featuring the best of their acts.

We’re bringing together the best parts of what we’ve done during the past three years in Blackpool

After Michael Jordan and Tamsyn Sear got married in the autumn, at Blackpool’s Hilton Hotel, they’re now expecting a baby in November, so he will be joined by Jo Renzulli as assistant for the shows.

Also featuring will be the Viva showgirls and a guest artist each week.

Ahead of a fortnight at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, they’ll be at Viva on Tuesday, July 28, returning again to play Tuesdays from August 18, as well as selected Sundays, until November 1.

Michael said: “It’s going to be a big show, with Viva allowing us more room to perform.

“We try each year to make it better and better, and although it’s not a totally new show, we’re bringing together the best parts of what we’ve done during the past three years in Blackpool.”

Last year saw them appear at St James Palace for Princess Royal, and at the International Horseshow, attended by the Duchess of Cornwall.

And already in 2015 the act has toured Europe with the International Festival de Magie and theatres across the UK.

The fast-paced act mixes grand illusions and smaller, close-up style tricks with circus skills - for all ages.

“It’s all delivered in a way to leave the audience amazed, puzzled but above all entertained,” Michael added.

“Our move to Viva gives us more opportunity and flexibility in developing future shows with its directors Martin Heywood and Leye D Johns, at one of Blackpools premier venues.”

Although based in Huddersfield - and Somerset, between their two families - Michael and Tamsyn source all their show material in Blackpool, working with Guy Barrett on illusion design, dancers from Phil Winston’s Theatreworks and choreography and costumes by Antony Johns and Dougie Squires of Trends Entertainments.
