The ‘heart-warming story’ of the wooden boy who dreams of coming to life is this year’s Tower Circus pantomime.

After a short break from its summer season, the Tower Circus team returns to the iconic venue on Sunday, the festive family treat plays until Sunday, January 17.

The new show promises an ‘action-packed circus extravaganza’.

A spokesman said: “Let your imagination run wild with the heart-warming story of the wooden boy who dreams of springing to life, combined with jaw dropping stunts and hilarious comedy antics clowns for a performance with a difference.

“The pantomime is produced and directed by the famous Endresz family, with seven generations of circus expertise, and stars Endresz family members Mooky the Clown as Pinocchio and regular Circus baddie Mr Boo playing Boooo!

“The winter pantomime will feature the most daring top class acts from across the globe, ending with the world famous water finale.”

At the base of Blackpool Tower, the circus is the oldest permanent circus arena in the world, dating back to 1894 and having featured spectacular feats of skill and bravery in Blackpool’s longest running show.
