Horror fans can jump on board The Ghost Train as the latest tour from the Vampires Rock team heads to Blackpool.

Steve Steinman returns to the Grand Theatre on Saturday, as Baron Von Rockula, with the latest version of the alternative musical night out.

Following on from last year’s Final Countdown tour, Steinman returns to his blood-thirsty fans on the Fylde with a new instalment in the epic rock saga – The Ghost Train.

Vampires Rock is a musical comedy set in 2030 New York as the undead walk among the living, and over 12 years on the road, more than one million tickets have been sold.

With their usual haunt, Club Live and Let Die, now in ruins, Baron Von Rockula and his band of blood-sucking vampires go in search of a new home, taking refuge in an abandoned ghost train.

A spokesman said: “Steve Steinman will be joined on stage by a full cast of highly talented singers, dancers and a formidable band.

“Featuring a spectacular stage set and impressive pyrotechnics, this is a visual feast of a show to complement the powerful performances of some of the greatest ever rock anthems, including We Will Rock You, Bat Out of Hell, Sweet Child Of Mine, Total Eclipse of the Heart and many more.”
