A ZZ Top tribute band and a member of Steve Harley’s Cockney Rebel are teaming their talents in Blackpool next week for an invitation only Bose showcase

The Cornwall-based ZZ Tops (pictured left) and guitarist Robbie Gladwell will be performing at Stardream on Mowbray Drive on Wednesday June 1 demonstrating Bose speakers to local band members, musicians and other performers.

Stardream has acquired the licence to exclusively sell and distribute the Bose range on the Fylde coast and is inviting anyone interested to attend the event.

“It’s the first time ZZ Tops – who are acclaimed as the leading ZZ Top tribute band in the country – and Robbie, who will be performing with his “virtual” band, have appeared in this area,” said a spokesman for Stardream. “It’s a great way of demonstrating what Bose has to offer but there is no hard sell involved – we just want people involved in the entertainment industry to have a good night hearing some top sounds.”

Admission will be restricted to a maximum of 50 and tickets for the event – which will run from 6.30 to 9pm – can be reserved by ringing (01253) 302602 or contacting

ZZ Tops formed in 2007 and has established an international reputation – even gaining acclaim from the original band.

Robbie Gladwell tours the world with Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel as well as fronting his own band, and being a trained guitar maker and repairer.
