The tour takes in Blackpool’s Opera House on December 3, and tickets are already on sale.

Announcing the return of 25 Years of Reeves & Mortimer: The Poignant Moments, Vic explains: “We had a super marvellous time on tour earlier this year.  We had forgotten how much fun it was and got such a great response from our encouragers we decided we had to go out and do it again.”

Bob adds: “We will be energised and plumptious due to a long summer spent wrapped in an oil-soaked carpet. Talking of carpets, not only will we be singing about them, but will also be wearing them in protest against the spread of laminate and ceramic flooring.

“We hope you will be able to come along and join in.”

The show celebrates their professional collaboration from Vic Reeves Big Night Out (Channel 4 1990) through Smell of Reeves & Mortimer, Bang, Bang It’s Reeves & Mortimer, Shooting Stars and House Of Fools.

Fans – or encouragers as Vic calls them – will be hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourite characters Man With the Stick, The Stotts, and Mulligan & O’Hare.
