Fresh from his own personal voyage to the bottom of the sea, director James Cameron is now behind the 3D re-release of his 1997 blockbuster Titanic.
Twentieth Century Fox are releasing the digitally re-mastered films on April 6.
The action-packed romance is set against the ill-fated maiden voyage of the R.M.S. Titanic, the most luxurious liner of her era but ultimately carrying over 1,500 people to their death in the ice cold waters of the North Atlantic in the early hours of April 15, 1912.
Titanic is still the second highest grossing film behind Avatar, also directed by James Cameron. It earned 11 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director.
The re-release coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Titanic’s fateful maiden voyage on April 10, 1912.
In conjunction with the Vue Cinema in Cleveleys Duke’s Diary has two packs of merchandise containing a limited edition t-shirt, luggage tag and bracelet plus two pairs of tickets for the films.
