Night full of music

Have your say

* THERE is a good night of music at West Coast in the town centre tomorrow.

Bands playing are The Dropout Wives, The Senton Bombs and Catlow, and there is a burlesque performance from Kitty Koko.

It’s been organised by Blackpool Roller Derby club, which started last year and now has more than 40 players, to raise money for the club.

Doors open at 8pm and tickets are £3 advance or £4 on the door.

* Students from Chetham’s School of Music will perform works by Mendelssohn, Doppler, Larsson and Gregson at a Fylde Midday Recital event tomorrow.

Adam Reynolds (tuba), Ellena Newton (trombone), Calla Rendall (flute) and Marie Fujimoto (violin) will be accompanied by Brenda Blewett, Chetham’s Joint Head of Accompaniment.

The recital begins at 2pm, at Lytham Assembly Rooms, on Diconson Terrace. Admission is £7, or £5 for Fylde Arts members.
