Jack Griffo and Kira Kosarin, stars of Nickelodeon’s live-action series The Thundermans are heading to Blackpool for Slimefest on Saturday, September 3, it was announced.
They will join dance group Diversity and California-based band The Tide, as well as YouTube star Roxxsaurus.
Jack said: “Slimfest is going to be so much fun. I can’t wait to get to the UK and be in Blackpool to watch some great bands and see a few epic slimings.”
And Kira added: “We are so, so excited for Slimefest and we can’t wait to meet our amazing British fans.
“Blackpool – get ready to be slimed!”
Launched in Australia in 2012, Nickelodeon’s Slimefest is a family music festival especially for children.
Featuring costume character appearances, hands-on activities, games, and music, Slimefest will be held in the Empress Ballroom at the Winter Garndens on Saturday, September 3, and on the Tower Festival Headland on both the Saturday, and Sunday, September 4.
Two concerts will be held inside the ballroom, at 11am and 5.30pm, with tickets starting from £25.
Character appearances and family activities will be held on the Headland for free.
Additional ticket packages include a space at the Illuminations Switch-On event on Friday, September 2, entry to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Nickelodeon Land.
More acts are set to be revealed over the coming weeks, while footage from the Slimefest live shows will be aired on Nickelodeon on Friday, September 9.
