Watch out – there’s a ninja about!
Well, a ‘boob ninja’, as Blackpool-born pop star Rae Morris has revealed her alter ego The Iron Curl.
Singer-songwriter Rae is one of a team of ‘boob ninjas’ signed up by breast cancer charity CoppaFeel, although details of their ‘boobie-clava’-clad mission are yet to be revealed.
In images released on social media site Twitter by CoppaFeel, Rae’s long curly tresses peak out from a boob-shaped balaclava, and she’s seen dressed in the charity’s trademark boob bodysuit.
CoppaFeel works to boost awareness of breast cancer and breast checking – which ‘isn’t only fun, but could save lives’ – among young people.
Rae’s fellow ‘digital ambassador’ ninjas include author, mum, blogger – and Mrs Tom ‘McFly’ Fletcher – Giovanna Fletcher – ninja name Love Sick Slayer – and Lucy and Lydia, identical twin vloggers and bloggers, who go by the ninja name of Double Threat, with other celebrities to be revealed.
Writing on Twitter, Rae said: “Couldn’t be happier to announce my newfound @CoppaFeelPeople Digital Ambassador and #BOOBNINJA status – boob love xxx.”
A statement from CoppaFeel said: “We’ve been scheming big things with some legendary ladies, and now our team of Boob Ninjas are going to be let loose online, on a mission to get you lot checking your boobs!”
Rae’s now in the midst of a summer festival season, having played widely praised sets at Glastonbury last weekend, as well as supporting global pop megastar Taylor Swift at Hyde Park in London.
And it’s just a month now until she returns back to home turf, to play the Pavilion Stage, Lowther Pavilion, at Lytham Festival – opening the eight-day celebration of music, arts, comedy and literature.
The ex-St George’s High School pupil has risen through the musical ranks in recent years, and released her debut album Unguarded in January.
