REVIEW: Music Hall Tavern Grand Theatre, Blackpool

Have your say

It’s unlikely that six men alone have raised the roof of the Grand Theatre, Blackpool, quite like the cast of Music Hall Tavern did on Sunday night.

But then, these aren’t any men - these six include four fabulous drag queens belting out hit after hit and having the audience in fits of laughter with their camp comedy.

The performers opened their UK tour with a home-coming show at the resort theatre, bringing their hugely successful drag show over from the Canary Islands for one-night-only.

They have made their name as the “best night of your holiday” performing across the holiday islands so pulled in a near-capacity crowd of revellers, who sang, danced and heckled along, keen to see the show again.

Drag queens Mrs T, Peggy Lee, Special K and Miss Kourtney offer everything from mimed medleys from your favourite film soundtracks, live renditions of everything from Dusty Springfield to Kylie and even some tap dancing too.

The best night of your holiday became one of the best nights at The Grand.
