Organisers of the popular Blackpool Rocks event have come under fire from fans saying it was too crowded and dangerous.
Thousands of people packed into the Tower Ballroom for the event on Saturday night but many have since complained, calling the organisation a “shambles”.
Fans reported queueing for hours in vain to see certain acts and seeing some rooms so packed they felt unsafe.
However, organisers said they had not oversold the event, which saw 5,700 pile into the 8,000-capacity venue, and said most people had a “great time”.
