The Central Promenade show hall will play host to Nicola Farnon for a special Valentine’s Night performance.
Nicola’s night will follow an return of Sands’ favourits 80s Gold for the reopening event on Saturday. A spokesman for Sands said: “Vocalist and double bass player Nicola is widely recognised as one of the classiest jazz and swing musicians in the UK.
“Her repertoire includes classic songs from the 1930s to the 1970s and guarantees a very special Valentine’s Night.
“80s Gold will get the party started on Saturday and Friday, February 13.
“Hailed as the ‘ultimate 1980s tribute show’, the party band features music made famous by ABC, Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran and others.”
Another firm favourite from the Sands programme, ABBA Sensation, will be back on Friday, February 20.
The spokesman added: “This is the first visit this year of ABBA Sensation and their invitation for everyone to let their hair down as they pay tribute to the music, costumes and even the choreography of the world’s favourite Swedish pop group.”
Also on the bill this month are the Kommitments, with their 10-piece band, on Saturday, February 21, paying tribute to The Commitments and the soul music which inspired them.
