It’s Rocktober in St Annes with the Bar @ Toast revealing another packed month of live music weekends.
Starting the autumn party tomorrow there’s another return visit of the coast’s popular reggae and Bob Marley specialists Bob On.
Last seen at this venue during the World Cup, the time there’s no distraction and on Saturday, October 4, you can pay full attention to Venezuela Venezuela, a band with rock music covers so good they had to name themselves twice.
On Friday, October 10, there’s another chance to see and hear Caroline Lowe pay her tribute to Amy Winehouse. Hailed as one of the best in the business, Caroline looks and sounds just like the late, great British singer and songwriter.
Saturday, October 11, sees the return of popular party covers band Higher Ground and also back for another night of roof raising rock will be The Rattlers on Friday, October 17.
Borders of Dawn will be performing rock tracks by legendary artists from the 70’s and 80’s through to the modern day on Saturday October 18.
One of the area’s most popular rock and pop cover bands – The Keytars – are back on Friday, October 24 followed the night after by Adam & Joe. Firm Toast regulars, the fun pop/rock/ R&B guitar duo perform the biggest current charts hits together with popular blasts from the past.
Bringing another month of live music to a close on Friday, October 31, is Touch The Pearl.
The coast’s ubiquitous eight to10 piece soul, funk and groove outfit has played major venues and events across the UK, Ireland and Europe, and supported acts as diverse as ELO and Edwin Starr.
