Blackpool lads are rocking hard

It’s been a busy few months for Blackpool’s own Jekyll with video shoots, battle of the bands contests and a big recording session.

Their brand new video for ‘The Wounds We’ve 
Ignored’ is out now and can be found on YouTube right now.

That’s not the only exposure the Blackpool boys have been getting.

One of their songs features on a download album for Manchester Dog’s Home, now available on iTunes.

And they are currently waiting for the finished and edited video filmed by DRH Productions for their very first ‘Backroom Sessions’ –going online soon.

It’s been a busy time for live performances too, the bank coming second in the The Ferret’s Last Band Standing Grand Final in Preston, a single point deciding things after a number of recounts.

They were also recently in action in the worldwide Hard Rock Rising – putting on a strong show in the regional semi finals in Manchester, winning through to the final round next Thursday – the global winners getting a slot at Hard Rock Barcelona.

And there’s plenty more to come, the band having recently recorded an EP at Anchor Studios in Preston.

* Look out for a live performance from The Scoundrels this weekend when they pop up at Blackpool’s Genting Casino on Saturday night.

* Fighting Bears are the headliners this weekend at The Blue Room. Support for the alternative rockers comes from Alter Eaden and the music starts around 9pm on Saturday.
