Eighties pop sensation Betty Boo can’t wait to be on the same bill as one of her musical icons.
The singer, famous for hit Doing The Do, is one of the stars of Friday's 80s v 90s line up at Lytham Festival.
And she’s more than one reason to be excited to be hitting the stage on The Green.
“These sorts of line up are fantastic,” she said. “It’s just a big singalong, you’ve got everybody there and a real party spirit.”
But the biggest reason for Betty, real name Alison Clarkson, to be excited, is the headline act from the showdown of decades.
“I idolised The Human League,” she said. “They were one of the biggest influences on me when I started.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been on a line up with them, I’m so excited, I can’t wait to see them.”
Tickets cost £35.
