Blackpool all girl trio Mellia fare one of 10 acts to go through to the final of The Printworx Factor which takes place in Manchester next Saturday.
The judging panel made up of Key 103 presenter Michelle Livesey, Style Etc magazine editor Marianna Kinsella and vocal coach Tina Dickinson were all highly impressed with the trio – comprising Ella Coleman and Melissa Stevens (18) and Ellie Danson (16) – who were told by Michelle: “You have a bright future ahead of you.
“Your harmonies were really tight and you lit up the room with your voices and really fantastic style.”
The second round of auditions for The Printworks annual talent contest The Printworx Factor took place last Saturday with 27 acts out to to impress the judges in a bid to be in the final.
A total of 45 acts took part in the event’s two heats but with only 10 slots available in the final, the competition was tight.

The live final of The Printworx Factor takes place on Saturday at 4pm with X Factor finalists 2 Shoes making a special appearance and meeting fans in Henry J Beans at 6pm.
The judges votes at the final coupled with online votes will be combined in order to find a winner, who will be announced on the day and take away the Printworx Factor title and a £500 prize.
