Chart topping singer Adele is to make her Blackpool debut with an Empress Ballroom appearance on September 8.
Her biggest ever nationwide tour follows on from the success of her critically acclaimed number one album 21.
In the UK 21 is entering its third week at number one in the official album chart selling over 500,000 copies.
Rolling In The Deep, Adele’s first single from the new album charted at number two and is currently still in the UK top five.
Adele was also seen performing in last night’s star studded live line-up at the Brit Awards.
The current album was recorded mostly in Malibu with the legendary Rick Rubin whose previous successes have included Johnny Cash, Jay Z, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and back in Kensal Rise in London with Paul Epworth (famed for Plan B, Bloc Party, Florence).
Adele cites Wanda Jackson, Yvonne Fair, Andrew Bird, Mary J Blige, Mos Def, Elbow, Tom Waits and Kanye West amongst others as key influences on 21.
