Funny Girls’ festive show looks a cracker

Have your say

The Funny Girls Christmas Spectacular Show 2012 premiered last night and looks set to break all records with it’s Once Upon A Time fairy tale fun themes.

The show features a selection of favourite characters and stories from classic fairy tales and fantasy worlds, mixed up with the Funny Girls humour and dance spectacular.

Philip Holmes, creative director at Funny Girls said: “It was an amazing first night and the crowds loved it all. It’s always an exciting challenge developing new themes and Christmas is one of our favourite times of year.

“This year we have surpassed all our expectations and have created a wildly imaginative, colourful and vibrant variety of wonderful worlds within worlds here on the Funny Girls stage.

“It was amazing to see the audience totally engage and immerse themselves in the experience and have a good sing along to their favourite Christmas musical numbers. There is a massive feel good factor and euphoric atmosphere in the venue during the Christmas Show, more than any time of the year, as people are ready to party and get into the full festive spirit of the occasion.

“We have also enjoyed record numbers in our special Christmas Party bookings but have a few selected dates still available to book for any last minute office, works or family parties over the Christmas period.

“We were delighted to see sell out dates for our Festive Buffet and Show deals and Garbo’s Restaurant has been a popular choice for discerning diners looking the mid week show and dine party deals.”

The Funny Girls Christmas Show Spectacular is open every night except Mondays until Sunday January 6 (closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day)

Doors open at 7pm. Show starts at 8.30pm. Finale ends approximately 11.30pm.
