The X Factor’s loss is Blackpool’s gain - as the show’s former star Louis Walsh takes over the judging at the resort’s Talent Fest UK final.
After 11 years on the prime time TV show, Louis has bowed out - and will take over head judging duties at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens this weekend.
Talent Fest UK host Robin Elliott said he was delighted to secure Louis as head judge.
He added: “I am honoured to have someone as high profile as Louis Walsh judge our competition.
“Louis is synonymous with judging prestigious talent shows and he will certainly be a huge inspiration to all our competitors.”
Entrants will travel from across the UK, as well as Ireland and Europe for the finals, which will include workshop sessions as well as title fights in categories covering singing, dancing and acting, and more.
And there’s still a chance to be part of the weekend, by performing in the Talent Hub - with a chance to support former X Factor act Union J on stage at the Empress Ballroom on Saturday night, or in front of Louis Walsh and other special guest judges to open the Talent Fest UK Awards Ceremony on Sunday.
Scouts from Britain’s Got Talent will also be attending.
