Stars of the hit Nickelodeon show House of Anubis are set to party with SpongeBob SquarePants and his pals in Blackpool tomorrow.

Eugene Simone, who plays Jerome, Brad Kavanagh, who is managed by Blackpool-based Scream Management and plays Fabian, Tasie Dhanraj, who plays Mara plus Klariza Clayton, who plays Joy, will all be joining the Nickelodeon Land characters as they celebrate their first birthday at the Pleasure Beach with a special party from 3pm.

Fresh from the success of the second series of House of Anubis, the stars will be taking a break from finding clues in the boarding house to enjoy some of the 12 rides and meetfans at Nickelodeon Land.

They will take part in the cake-cutting ceremony performed by SpongeBob at 4.30pm and also sign autographs at the Nickelodeon stage.

With its colourful and party-like atmosphere, Nickelodeon Land has been a huge hit with “youngsters” of all ages and their families.

The £10.3 million attraction was opened by David Hasselhoff and features rides such as SpongeBob’s Splash Bash, Dora’s World Voyage and Avatar Airbender.

Tomorrow all 12 rides on Nickelodeon Land are staying open late.

From 3pm, there is a chance to purchase a wristband for £10 and spend the rest of the day at the attraction until 7pm. All other Pleasure Beach rides will close at 5pm.

Managing director of the Pleasure Beach, Amanda Thompson OBE, said: “The excitement is building ahead of Nickelodeon Land’s first birthday and we are delighted to be welcoming some of the stars from House of Anubis along for the celebrations.

“Nickelodeon Land has been a huge success for the Pleasure Beach and has attracted a number of stars to experience the fun. We can’t wait to welcome everyone here on Friday.”

Nickelodeon Land wristbands are available from 3pm tomorrow at the Pleasure Beach ticket centre and they can also be pre-booked online at

The park will open from 10am and holders of Unlimited Ride wristbands or a Nickelodeon Land wristband can stay for the celebrations.
