The coolest place to be this season is the Pleasure Beach Arena, as it hosts the park’s Christmas Grotto.
Characters Poppy Corn, Kandy Floss and Bradley and Bella Beaver are welcoming families to the enchanted grotto, where they will meet storyteller Miss Christmas Eve and Dominic the Elf Extraordinaire.
A spokesman said: “The Grotto is a festive, enchanted, winter wonderland full of magic and sparkling lights.
“Santa Claus will be paying a visit to give every good boy and girl a special gift – a Blackpool Pleasure Beach Diamond Pass for the 2016 season and a free learn to skate lesson.”
The pass allows entry to the park every day of the 2016 season, to take in the atmosphere and enjoy attractions such as the Pleasure Beach Express and the Chinese Maze.
As well as a magical meeting with Santa Claus, Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s Winter Wonderland has plenty for all of the family to enjoy, such as having their photo taken in the giant snow globe or being able to tie a Christmas wish to the decorated tree.
A visit to the Blackpool Pleasure Beach Arena Grotto costs £10 per person, including entrance to the Grotto, Santa’s gift, ice skating, skate hire and a choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
It opens from 11am to 4pm on weekends until December 19, when it then opens daily until December 24.
