The event will cover all aspects of the creative industries from setting up a creative business, ensuring copyright and the positive exploitation of intellectual property, access to funding, community impact and provide a range of opportunities to meet creative professionals and entrepreneurs.
Colin Appleby, curriculum leader for employer liaison and apprenticeships at the School of Creative Arts, said: “The Creative Perspective event is open to our own and other students within further and higher education as well as the wider creative community, whether already practising or in business or with the aspirations to establish themselves as a working creative.
“I believe that this event is the first of its kind across the Fylde Coast.
“It came about as a result of the shared aspirations of the School of Creative Arts at Blackpool and The Fylde College to inspire and bring together the professional creative community.
