Grab your cardies comedy lovers as Sarah Millican will be stepping outside for her next tour.
And she’ll need to wrap up warm against Blackpool’s blustery breeze as she heads for the Opera House on May 1 2016.
A spokesman said: “In the past when you put Sarah Millican outside, she asked things like ‘Why? Where is the taxi? Do I need a cardie?’ and said things like ‘There’ll be wasps. I’ve nothing to sit on. Is that poo? Can we go home?’.
“But things have changed. Now she has outside slippers.
“Sarah Millican is venturing outside. Bring a cardie.”
The North East-born comedian has made the North West her home, living in Manchester.
She played the Opera House on her last tour Home Bird in late 2013, with a second date added at the venue when the initial date sold out within minutes.
Millican is a regular on TV screens, as a panelist on various shows and hosting her own Sarah Millican Television Programme on BBC. She recently had a host stint on this year’s Comic Relief telethon broadcast.
Tickets for Outsider go on sale on Friday at 10am, costing £25. The show is listed as not suitable for under 16s.
