Meet Blackpool’s newest dynamic duo (and we are not talking about the ones in the middle!).
It’s just a week since Hollie Robinson (left) was crowned Miss Blackpool 2011, with Jessica Bradder (right) coming a very worthy second, and tomorrow night they will both be guests of honour at the Crystal VIP room at CoCo on Market Street.
It will be their first public appearance since last week’s competition and both beauties say they can’t wait.
“It’s all been a bit surreal,” said Hollie. “I wake up every morning thinking it’s all been a dream, but I’m determined to do Blackpool proud and raise lots of money for charity during the year.”
But there is one regret.
“I’ve entered for the past couple of years, so I’ll really miss not being able to compete next year,” she laughed.
It was Jessica’s first time in the contest and she’s already looking forward to next year.
The 20-year-old trainee dance teacher, who also works at Domino’s in Thornton, and is even delivering newspapers this week for her sister whilst she’s on holiday, says she loved every minute of it.
“And it means I can get in to CoCo and Che Bar free, which is great because they are already my favourite venues,” she said.
Whilst the girls meet and greet people in Crystal, the Captain Morgan Spiced crew will be dishing out samples and giveaways in CoCo, where DJ Vince Williams keeps things funky, with Jimmy Day and Kenny Dyson looking after things in Che Bar.
And the other two in our picture? It’s father and son Peter and Josh Schofield, who will be on duty tonight at Che Bar.
Che Bar and CoCo are open all weekend with sport on the big screens during the day and the town’s top line-up of DJs at night and into the early hours.
