Hairdressing students pulled out all the stops to take top prize at their college’s annual hair show - creating everything from a pirate ship to Edward Scissorhands.
The 57 hairstylists created styles to the theme of movies, as part of the Level Three hairdressing course. Blackpool and The Fylde College hosted the show at Viva Cabaret Bar, on Church Street, Blackpool, on Monday night.
Programme co-ordinator Tricia Reilly said: “The standard this year was perhaps the highest it has ever been.
“The atmosphere in the show was brilliant, it went really, really well. It’s a showcase for the students work and to raise their employment opportunities.” The night also raised funds for Brian House children’s hospice, with students collecting £150 for the Low Moor Road, Bispham, hospice.
