A SCI-FI author will be signing copies of the latest book in his award winning series this weekend.
Slither’s Tale is the eleventh novel in Joseph Delaney’s Spook’s stories, which is released tomorrow.
The former Blackpool Sixth Form College teacher is meeting fans at Blackpool’s Waterstone’s store on Saturday from 2pm.
Laura Thompson, events manager at the Bank Hey Street store, said: “This is the first time the Lancashire author has visited the Blackpool store, which is really exciting for fans.
“Delaney’s books explore the relationship between master and student of supernatural practices and include references to the area.
“The County refers to Lancashire, Priestown to Preston and our very own hometown features in the hugely successful books.”
The author is taking the time out to meet fans in between working as an advisor on the first film adaptation of his supernatural Wardstone Chronicles novel, which is set for release in 2013.
To book a place to meet the writer call the store on (01253) 296136.
