THIS is the exclusive first look at a cracking new ride set to hit the Pleasure Beach in spring.

Family favourites Wallace and Gromit will be immortalised at the resort attraction when their Thrill-O-Matic experience is built over the next few months.

The adventure ride takes people soaring around the tracks in Wallace’s slipper where they will come face to face with some of the inventors’ most recognisable creations from their past.

And a select few die-hard fans of the lovable pair will get the chance to experience the £5.25m ride, which replaces the Gold Mine, before it opens next year.

Amanda Thompson, managing director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, said: “We cannot wait for our new ride to open in spring and this will give guests the chance to see it first with a special preview ticket.

“Thrill-O-Matic promises to give guests an experience they will never forget and we’re looking forward to welcoming preview riders to see it before its official opening.

“It promises to be a Grand Day Out at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, which will live long in the memory as we give people the chance to be one of the first riders on our fantastic new ride.”

Fans can join the dynamic duo on their adventures through the twists and turns of the world’s only Wallace and Gromit ride for £10 on specially selected preview dates before its official opening.
