World's longest running hypnotist show returns to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Ken Webster can't wait to be back

The last three decades he has spent mesmerising crowds throughout the year at the Blackpool Pleasure Beach Horseshoe Showbar.

And Ken says is thrilled he will now be back, a little later than planned for his 32nd year, when he arrives in town with his new two-hour show next Saturday Septmeber 12.

One thing Ken has never been short of in performing the world's longest running hypnosis show, is willing volunteers. 2020 will be an exception with the new Covid guidance for indoor live performances.

Ken has had to re-write the entire script and premise, a challenge he was happy enough to relish. He said: "The show was written, all the new material prepared. The concept in the last 30/ 40 years has had a heavy focus on the audience participation but the new guidance restricts the numbers to three people allowed on stage.

"It's been a challenge - I basically had to rip it up and re-write absolutely everything but I'm really looking forward to getting out and performing again , it's been such a long time but I will make my 32nd year in Blackpool!"

Ken is famed for his incredible hypnosis talents as well as the outrageous and absurd nature of his act, when he has people entranced.

Ken added: "People want fun, they need entertaining now, I'm grateful to have the chance to do it again, albeit with a socially distanced audience and with all the new measures but just to make people have fun and laugh, that's what entertainers do.

"The response to the show has been great and tickets are selling well. I'll be there every Saturday night until the Pleasure Beach closes."
