The winner will see their name on the bill with professionals such as Jeremiah Ferrari, Fire Beneath The Sea, Off The Rails Big Band, Bugalu Foundation and Drop the Floor. Lytham Festival director Peter Taylor said: “We’ve got a fantastic line up for this year’s World Jazz Stage with musicians travelling from all over the UK but we want to give someone local the opportunity to be part of it

“We know that there is a thriving music scene locally and some incredibly talented people out there who are just itching for their big break – and this could be it.”

To enter, visit www.facebook.com/lythamfestival and submit a sample of your music via private message. Samples can be submitted by SoundCloud, Vimeo, YouTube or other music sharing services by Sunday, May 29.

Submitted entries will be shared on the Festival’s Facebook page and the one with the most likes and shares will be selected as the winner and announced on Monday, June 6.
