New e-book Pardon the Pun released by son of late Blackpool writer John D Vose

A film extra and the son of the late Blackpool based writer and novelist John D Vose has released a new collection of his fathers' works in a new book - Pardon the Pun.

Kevin Vose, a former runner with Blackpool and Fylde Athletic Club and North Fylde Athletic Club has produced the book of puns, taken from a booklet by his father,' Punography - The world's most horrible and obnoxious Puns.'

John, a trained chiropodist, orignally from St Helen's moved to the resort in the 1980s with wife Philomena, and wrote several novels, one-act plays, and was an active member in the St Bernadettes RC Theatre group in Bispham. He died in 2016.

Kevin has now had the book of puns to delight all audiences published alongside a book of his own poetry 'Potty Poems.'
