Big music gig will raise money for Poulton park

A Poulton community group have come together to bring residents a fun-filled day of music and entertainment to raise money their their local park.

The Friends Of Jean Stansfield/Vicarage Park hope to kit out Poulton Park with new playing equipment through the money raised at their Big Gig, which will take place at the park on Vicarage Road from 11am until 9pm on Sunday.

Music will be provided by professional party band The Deadbeats, rock musician Ian Hooper, wedding band The Keytars, and party band Happy Daze, as well as aspiring young entertainers.

There will be a small funfair with rides, refreshments and competition stalls,.

More than £1,000 worth of raffle prizes will be available, including food hampers, a £200 voucher for Woodland Spa and a paragliding pass for Sunsoar in Kirby Lonsdale.
