Dance supergroup Diversity are heading back to Blackpool as part of an August urban invasion
A special Urban Dance Organisation (UDO) Live Tribute To Michael Jackson will be at the Opera House on Sunday August 28 from 7.30pm with tickets from £22.
Acts confirmed now include Diversity, Ronan Parke and New Bounce from Britain’s Got Talent plus from Sky’s Gotta Dance – Chris & Webb, Turbo, Alleviate and Razzle Dazzle.
The Winter Gardens Olympia also plays host to the first Reverb Urban Festival on Saturday 13 August from 1pm to 1am with tickets at £27.50.
Headlining the event will be Katy B performing a preview to her On A Mission tour set which goes live in October 2011.
“This is one of the only dates prior to the tour where she will be performing her full live show,” a Reverb spokesman said. “The event welcomes all ages for a 12 hour urban takeover of live music, art, breakdancing, extreme sports and workshops.”
Also at the event will be international urban acts such as Brookes Brothers, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Junk Box, Captain Crunch, Whisker Twister and the UK hampion Beatboxer Reeps One.
Speak to the Streets will be holding their UK Breakdancing semi finals bringing in some of the country’s top BBoys before they fly out to the Outlook Festival in Croatia.
