Carole Solazzo, a regular writer for the evergreen BBC Radio 4 series The Archers, will be leading the first of a series of master classes for anyone interested in writing for radio, TV or theatre.

“This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in script writing to learn from a highly experienced professional,” said Ian Lamond, director of Stage Write, a network for people interested in script writing and reading new plays, which has organised the session.

As well as The Archers, Carole is a regular contributor to the daytime BBC TV drama Doctors and has had work performed at the Oldham Coliseum and Sheffield’s Crucible theatres.

The masterclass, which will take place at FYCreatives on Church Street in Blackpool, is on Thursday and begins at 6.30pm.

Admittance is £5, payable on the night, and includes refreshments.

Carole Solazzo is just one of a number of writers who will be leading masterclasses and workshops for Stage Write over the coming months.
