Under-fire Fylde trail at interval

Rosslyn Park took control of this National League One contest by half-time.

Fylde made the worst possible start as they conceded two tries in the opening seven minutes through Adam Frampton and Henry Robinson, both of them converted by Harry Leonard.

The home side did rally and crossed for tries by Paul Arnold and Connor Wilkinson.

Smith landed a conversion as Fylde pulled it back to 14-12.

But Fylde were punished for poor handling and defensive mistakes and their challenge imploded.

Leonard landed two penalties and winger Dominic Morris scored two tries in the space of three minutes. The second of Morris' tries was converted to make it a bleak first 40 minutes for Fylde.
