Three try Fylde lead at half-time at the Woodlands

Fylde had the edge in their relegation clash at the bottom of National League One.

Matt Rogerson, on loan from Sale, put Fylde in front after eight minutes.

The home side's second was a 90-yard interception try by Warren Spragg after 17 minutes.

Five minutes before half-time Tom Burtwonwood scored a pushover try.

All three tries were converted by Greg Smith.

But it was not all plain sailing for Fylde.

Bottom of the table Macclesfield enjoyed plenty of territory, but came up against some solid Fylde defence.
